    Largest project ever financed in Europe to study the genetic determinants of human longevity.

    The Genetics of Healthy Aging (GEHA) consortium clusters 25 partners coming from 11 European countries, and China. GEHA will collect 5300 old siblings and 2650 younger controls, thus realizing the largest study ever made on longevity in humans.

    The project is funded by the Sixth Framwork Programme for Research and Technological Development.
