The MuTHER (Multiple Tissue Human Expression Resource) project is an undertaking to coordinately analysis designed to understand the relationship between genome sequences variation, methylation status, mRNA expression and disease phenotypes [http://www.muther.ac.uk/]. MuTHER has the largest collections of human gene expression data with age from skin, fat and blood (lymphoblastoid cell lines). Samples (150 skin, 166 fat, and 156 LCL) are derived simultaneously from healthy female twins [http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21304890].
