Expression profiling of genes associated with pluripotency revealed a early marker genes which determine whether a cell will be fully, partially or not reprogrammed. Around six days after the introduction fo defined factors cells that were reprogrammed expressed Esrrb, Utf1, Lin28 and Dppa2 which themself control the transcription factors involved in pluripotency [http://www.biocompare.com/Life-Science-News/121019-Whitehead-Scientists-Bring-New-Efficiency-To-Stem-Cell-Reprogramming/].
