Browser Connection

There exists and upper limit on the number of requests a browser can make to a single server. The browsers itself sets this upper limit. Generally it is about six connections for a modern browser. When the upper limit is reached, the browser will actually block subsequent requests until an open connection becomes available. For instance, if there are 4,000 pending requests, and only six connections, all the other requests get stacked until something gives.
