The Crane for Harmony - Next to the phoenix, the Crane is the most favored of all the bird symbols of good fortune. It is the bird of Immortality and it is strongly identified with the attributes of Longevity, happiness and the smoothness of flight. The crane's symbolic presence in the home or garden is believed to bring harmony and happinesses.

A crane in the middle of the clouds represents longevity, nobility as well as wisdom. A crane that is found amidst pine-trees represents wealth determination and power.
