Change - Integration of Resources

The primary integration of different resources on Aging will be achieved through tight exchange of ideas and proposals and refactoring of the current individual infrastructures. ¶

Data exchange will be made possible via the concept of Data Units and the use of Semantic Web technologies. ¶

The integration of different resources can even occur within a single framework. It is pretty doable with a combination of AWS and/or vhost trickery. ¶

The basic idea would be to host for instance the Longevity Alliance associated sites like Denigma as individual branches of the same physical website. They could then share a database (either co-located or virtual), Apache instance, etc. The in needs the DNA records need to point people browsing the site to the adequate branch: IP:8080/DENIGMA_BRANCH or IP:8080/LONGEVITY_ALLIANCE_BRANCH. Then it is possible to use VHOSTS (virtual hosts) to ensure that people visiting those pages see the appropriate domain in their browsers. It would also help to resolve SSL certification confusion itf SSL support will be needed later on.
