The International Longevity Alliance (ILA) needs a bird as symbol. Birds are long-lived species. The Eagle lives very long. The Crane is a symbol of longevity. The Phoenix has a life cycle of thousands years and even if it dies it can rise out of its ash (resurrection). In its crawls there shall it carry the sign of longevity. Asia is the biggest continent and the shou symbol is the most common representation of longevity.

The color blue represents fidelity and loyalty and is the color of internationality. Our planet is a blue globe. The sea as well as sky is blue, which connects all continents.

This idea has wings to build a strong international brand.

It is a very young bird, representing youth. Its eyes are sharp, which indicates its determinedness (firmness) with a clear goal in sight.
