Take the simplest hypothesis and this should be the right one, because it it most likely that it is true. Entities should not be multiplied without necessity.

  • "Principle of Simplicity"
  • Among competing hypothesis, the one that makes the fewest assumptions should be selected
  • A theory is simple, if
  • it contains as few variables and hypothesis as possible
  • that relate clearly logical with each other and
  • the Subject to be explained can be logical deduced (from these assumptions and hypotheses)
