Queries in Natural Language can be done in an automated way via some kind of Fact Retrieval Search Engine.
This allows to ask a question in Natural Language and retrieve an answer in Natural Language, rather than a bunch of web pages (Document Retrieval). WolframAlpha is an already existing fact Retrieval search Engine wit a huge knowledge base behind it and makes it possible to ask Questions in Natural Language and find the answer.
