The Longevity Variant Database (LVDB) will be the most comprehensive database containing all genetic variants associated with longevity in humans. The data collection process is directed by Kristen Fortney, PhD, of Stanford University, USA and Joe Betts-LeCroix of Health Extension [http://www.healthextension.co/about/] The online data delivery system was created by the members of Global Computing Initiative. Overall for the constructing of the LVDB several academics and programmers all over the world are collaborating on.
