Aging is the evolutionary programmed process of physiological decline in function. It is a genetic trait just like hair color. Although it is not a universal trait, as there are sSpecies which do not appear to age at all, it is quite widespread among most sSpecies. The molecular mechanism and its root cause remains an Enigma. ¶

Aging is not m
erely an uncontrolled, random process, but rather than highly regulated as Development, opening it up to possible manipulation.

Decoding the
aAging process is the declared aim of the Denigma Project.
