T Cell Progenitor

T cells begin their development as a proginotor with the bone marrow but complete their differentiation with the thymus [Awong et al., 2011: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21622245]. T cell progenitors are CD34+ peripheral blood mononuclear cells which can be isolated from the blood or the bone marrow [Daniel Wuttke].
